Keeping fit and learning will be child's play for the pupils at Valley View Community Primary in Rodley with the help of their brand new outdoor learning area.

* Click here for latest Calverley news.The outdoor area, which cost around £6,000, took about six weeks to complete and was built by Horsforth carpenter Simon Hewitt.
Councillor Ted Hanley officially opened the new playground for the youngsters to explore for the first time.
Headteacher Sarah Griggs was delighted with the new facility and told Calverley Today: "The children were thrilled when the outdoor area was officially opened.
"They all dispersed in different directions to have a look around because it used to be a large space - now there are lots of different
sections for them.
"It helps to give the school an additional wow factor where children can learn indoors and outdoors all day."
