Leeds MP praises charity partnership
MP Stuart Andrew has praised a new scheme that is helping people at Emmaus Leeds to improve their chances of getting a job
The charity, which provides a home and meaningful work to formerly homeless people, has partnered with Corecom Consulting, which specialises in IT recruitment.
The initiative will raise the employability prospects of the people Emmaus supports through mentorship, training sessions and voluntary support. Mr Andrew (MP for Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough) visited Corecom’s offices, on City Square, to meet the staff involved and to express his gratitude for the scheme.
