Calverley's own rugby superstar Jamie Peacock launches his much-anticipated autobiography this month.
The Rhinos and Great Britain skipper – named the Man of Steel and International Prop Forward of the Year – will launch No White Flag at Philip Howard Books in Street Lane, Roundhay, on Saturday, March 22 from 11am.
In the book, Jamie talks about every aspect of his life, from starting out as a skinny youth and being told he wouldn't make the grade to the dark days in hospital when he nearly lost his hand and his career was hanging by a thread.
It culminates in the euphoria of winning the Grand Final and leading Great Britain to an historic series whitewash over New Zealand in 2007.
He also talks candidly about why he left Bradford Bulls after steering them to Grand Final glory.
Fans can chat to Jamie, get signed copies of the book and see the Super League and World Club Challenge trophies, which will be on display.
