Conservative group leader Coun Andrew Carter held his seat in Calverley and Farsley ward. Joseph Marjoram (Cons) won the second seat after Amanda Carter stood down.
Coun Carter scooped 4,283 votes while Joseph Marjoram gained 3,159.

Coun Carter said: "I am delighted to hold the seat and this is the largest majority I have had as a councillor.

"I am gratefuI to the people of Calverley and Farsley and I shall do my level best to serve them."

Joseph Marjoram said: "I am delighted to be the representative for Calverley and I would like to acknowledge Amanda Carter for her years of service."

Labour's Lorraine Hoy polled 1,327 votes. Andrew Jarosz (Lab) took 1,262, Kate Arbuckle (Lib Dem) 836, Jane Hollings (BNP) 666, Robert Leary (BNP) 637 and Chris Read (Lib Dem) 613.
